Agentic payments for business

Your AI agent. Your company card.

PayCarter lets an employee's AI agent buy what the business needs on a company card, inside limits your finance team sets. Every purchase is checked, approved where needed, and recorded.

Agent asks for£240.00
Limit per purchase£250.00

Above £100.00, a named approver says yes first. Example with demo values, not real limits or pricing.

Set the rules once.

Decide how much each agent can spend, where it can buy, and when a person has to approve. The rules apply to every purchase.

Approve what matters.

Small, routine purchases go through. Larger ones wait for a named approver, who can say yes or no from a message.

See every purchase.

Each request, decision, payment and receipt is kept together, tied to the employee whose agent made it.

From request to receipt.

The agent never holds the company card. It asks permission for one purchase at a time, and PayCarter decides what happens next.

  1. The agent

    Asks to buy

It says what it wants, from whom, for how much, and why.

  2. PayCarter

    Checks the rules

Limit, budget and merchant are checked against your policy straight away.

  3. Your team

    Approves if needed

Above your threshold, the request goes to a person and the agent waits.

  4. PayCarter

    Pays and records

The agent gets payment details for that purchase only. The receipt is filed.

For developers and the agents they run

One request. One answer.

Connect an agent through an API or an MCP server. It makes a purchase request and gets back one of three answers: approved, pending or denied.

  • Works with agents that speak MCP, and anything that can call an API.
  • Each agent is tied to a named employee, so every purchase has an owner.
  • Payment details are issued per purchase and are not reusable.

Approve from wherever you are.

When a purchase needs a person, the approver gets a message showing what the agent wants, why, and what it does to the budget.

  • The agent waits. Nothing is paid until someone says yes.
  • Approve or decline in one step, with a reason if you want to give one.
  • The decision is kept with the purchase, alongside the receipt.

Where we are.

PayCarter is in development. It is not a live payment service yet and it does not hold or move money.

The details on the right will be filled in as they are confirmed. Until then we would sooner leave them blank than guess.

Questions.

What is an agentic payment?

A purchase made by an AI agent for a person or a business. Someone sets what the agent is allowed to buy, and the agent completes the checkout itself.

Does the agent get our card number?

No. PayCarter is designed so the agent asks permission for one purchase and, once that is approved, receives payment details that work for that purchase only.

Which cards will it work with?

We are building for company Visa and Mastercard cards, using the agent payment programmes both networks have introduced. Our access to those programmes is not confirmed yet, so we can't promise a network or a date.

Can we use PayCarter today?

Not yet. Join the launch list and we will tell you when early access opens for UK businesses.

What will it cost?

Pricing isn't set. It will be published in full before anyone is asked to sign up.

Give your agent a budget.

The launch list opens shortly. Early access will go to UK businesses first.

Work email only. No card or bank details.
